ROAD TO KAISERREICH, A ROAD TO 56 SUBMOD:
The Weltkrieg has long ended, leaving Germany shackled by the Treaty of Versailles and plunged into economic despair. The Wall Street Crash of 1929 only deepened the crisis, sending the Weimar Republic into political and financial ruin. With instability gripping the nation, the German elite, military high command, and the disillusioned populace turned to a familiar figure—the exiled Kaiser—to restore order. Answering the call, Wilhelm II returned, gradually stabilizing the economy and rekindling imperial sentiment. By 1933, with Germany on the path to recovery, the slow dismantling of Versailles’ restrictions had already begun.
Meanwhile, in Austria, the turbulent years reached a boiling point in 1934 with the outbreak of civil war. The conflict ended with Engelbert Dollfuß securing victory and dismantling democratic institutions, purging political opposition, and forging the Austrofascist state. Now, as 1936 dawns, Europe stands at a crossroads. The future is uncertain, and the world holds its breath as tensions begin to rise once more.
Secret Lore: Adolf Hitler continues his duties in Reichswehr as a an agent to crack down socialist movements, including the German Workers Party(soon to be future Nazi in real life). And Hitler continue to serve, promote, and loyal to the Reichswehr.
