🧠 Muv-Luv HOI4 Mod – Hell/Nightmare Edition Summary (v1.16.4)

Note: This version is compatible only with Hearts of Iron IV v1.16.4. Using other versions may result in crashes (especially when opening the unit designer).
Set your in-game graphics to DirectX 9 for improved 3D models.
Now includes English language patch support.

βš”οΈ Core Gameplay Changes

1. Ground Unit & Balance Overhaul
TSF stats have been fully rebalanced for a more intense and fair combat experience.
Helicopters, tanks, and anti-air systems have new tactical roles and adjusted stats.
TSA and ASA units are now classified as Special Forces – fewer in number, but significantly stronger.

2. Air Force Rework

Air unit mechanics updated: cheaper but more powerful ammunition.
Bombers perform better during sustained engagements.
Airstrikes are now a key tool in high-stakes scenarios.

3. Naval Rework (WIP)

Initial changes to naval units to fit the Muv-Luv setting.
Ship roles and stats updated to better match the meta and upcoming features.

4. Focus Tree Revisions

Soviet Union:
New economic branch for better production/resource management.
Reduced focus durations.
EUR: Major bug fix restoring smooth progression.
UNI: Gained Cuba and Hawaii; improved naval and industrial strength.
China (Update 1.6.4): New focus tree inspired by SOA’s "The Savior is Here" with balance improvements.

5. BETA Threat & Game Depth

Combat width adjusted for more realistic frontlines.
Laser classes significantly buffed – especially Red Air.
Hive evolution added: BETA hives now grow and expand during the game. Stay alert – they never rest.

πŸ”§ Lore-Based Update (v1.5)

Destroyer-class BETA now require minimum ~150mm kinetic or HEAT/APHE weaponry to defeat.
Light naval batteries updated with 155–203mm guns (hard attack focused) but lost anti-air capabilities.
Naval AA systems reworked to focus on heavier weapons effective against Laser-class enemies.

New Doctrines:

Mobile Strike: High-speed TSF-focused doctrine.
Close Combat: Mixed-forces strategy for TSA, ASA, TSF, and ground troops.
Grand Battleplan: Classic mass infantry doctrine with wide-front planning and entrenchment.

πŸ”„ Minor Patches & Fixes (v1.51–v1.54)

Added missing translations.
EUR and AFR focus updates.
ASA-Fighter added for EUR.
Beta deployment logic adjusted for safety/lore.
TSF support company fixed.
TSF Light Chassis cost rebalanced.
Combat skills unified under one category.

βš™οΈ Strategic & Naval Enhancements (v1.6 – v1.6.5)

Key Additions:
Royal Guard unit costs rebalanced to match elite status.
New decision: "Combat Protocols" for mid-game tactical flexibility.
New naval routes for better logistics, invasion options, and strategy.
UNI boosted with more factories and expanded reach.

Other Fixes & Features:

3D models from the CHI mod added.
New SOA/CEA options introduced.
Fixed TSF stockpile loss bug for AFR and EUR factions.
Minor BETA research tweaks.
Map updates tied to Hive expansion.
Beta Fort small change, to make the unit tradable, in combat
