Colthage, this land of heroes and legends, the birthplace of the Za‘al and Zonician Gods, has now been reduced to scorched earth amidst strife. The uprising of the constitutionalists, the betrayal of the militarists, the rampage of the LAE—calamities followed one after another, pushing this once-great and beautiful nation to the brink of ruin. After the defection of Zarishat, leader of the LAE, warlords and rebels rose in contention, and Colthaginian civilization would once again be torn apart by chaos…
Yet within the eye of the storm, besieged by rebels and amidst the cries of the people, a glimmer of hope remains: the Federal Army, rallied under the banner of the Republic by General Zanit Monzano—once a trusted lieutenant of Zarishat but now awakened to righteousness—stands resolute, their oaths ringing clear. They have sworn to fight for the peace and order of this nation. They are patriots, rebels, the children of farmers and workers, and they will never allow their homeland to fall into the hands of cultists or corrupt elites.
The fate of Colthage now hangs in the balance, and the wheels of history grind forward relentlessly. Whether the flame of the Republic, born in haste and peril, will turn to ashes or surge like a tidal wave across this land remains uncertain. These last republicans are prepared to lay down their lives for their country, and the path to dawn begins beneath their feet.
