Have you ever wondered about an alternative possibility for Arab history?

In 1936, as the general strike against French colonial rule swept across Syria, what if it wasn’t just moderate nationalists who rose to the challenge? What if, instead, a disciplined revolutionary alliance of left-wing forces—comprising the Ba’ath Party, the Communist Party, and the Social Nationalist Party—stepped forward?

Unity, Freedom, Socialism tells this very story. This Mod takes you back to that turbulent era. You will no longer passively wait for an independence treaty that will never be ratified. Instead, you will personally ignite the flames of resistance, lead a momentous anti-colonial and anti-feudal socialist revolution, and build a new, powerful, and unified socialist state in this land known as the "Crossroads of the World."

The Mod’s narrative begins in 1936. You will play as an "Anti-Colonial United Front" composed of Syria’s various left-wing parties. Your initial goal is to build up strength and, through a series of decisions and national focuses, ultimately launch the Second Syrian-French Revolt (following the 1927 revolt) to win independence. After independence, the real challenge begins. You will face territorial ambitions from Turkey to the north, immense pressure from the British Empire and its colonial proxies in the region (Palestine, Transjordan), and the feudal monarchs to the south who view you as a thorn in their side.

Most of the mod’s historical research is based on "General History of Middle Eastern Countries: Syria and Lebanon Volume" by Wang Xingang and "General History of Middle Eastern Countries: Iraq Volume" by Huang Minxing.
