Flame of the Protectorate is a mod that explores a world where Cromwell’s Protectorate succeeds. This is a beta/demo for the mod and isn’t completely playable. But with all that in mind, welcome to Flame of the Protectorate.
The world of 1936 is drastically different from ours. Ever since the ascension of Henry Lawrence to the position of Lord Protector of the Protectorate, life without a king became the norm in Britain. Years later, after wars broke out here and there due to the Commonwealth’s oppression of the American Colonies, the American Revolution erupted. Centuries pass, and after the fall of Napoleon to Malet’s Republic in France, and the brutal Revolutions of 1848, and years later, the Revolutions of 1916, the world sits on a knife-edge. With the Revanchists in Austria waiting to make their strike and the Renacentistas in the Andean Confederation, few know who will make the first strike.
