As you can see, this mod removes the nonlinear growth of energy.
The energy consumption calculation formula of the original game is like this : (0.0225n+0.25)n = Total consumption [n is the number of factories.]
The 0.0225 threshold has now been removed, and the calculation formula has changed to 0.25n = total consumption.
Why do I think it’s necessary to make this mod? First, I believe PVP players need it. Second, I’ve calculated that when your country has 1,000 factories, you need nearly 2,600 units of coal to fully meet the energy demand, which is simply impossible and utterly ridiculous.
Even if your country only has 300 factories, this is quite normal when playing as the Soviet Union, right? But it still requires 2,100 energy. To put it into perspective, without any modifiers, you would need 233 coal to fully power them. In wartime economic conditions, you would need 268 coal. The original game’s coal resources may not be enough. When you reach 400 factories, you need 410 coal. This growth rate is too high. This is a major design flaw in the game.
