The Red Pearl [Pre-Alpha]
On June 6th, 1918, the Latvian General Jukums Vācietis marched on the Kremlin and arrested Lenin himself. The Bolshevik Revolution collapsed overnight, and a new “Union” was born under Latvian command. Vācietis turned west to crush the White Armies in Ukraine, but his neglect of the East allowed the Czechoslovak Legion to carve out its own empire across Siberia.
A decade later, the world has frozen in stalemate along the Urals. The Czechs, weary and exiled, dream of marching home. The Allies demand they stay. And in the west, the Latvians – who once saved the revolution by destroying it – are beginning to dream of something far greater than Moscow.
You decide who breaks the deadlock. Will the Legion defy its masters and fight through half a continent to return to Europe? Will the Latvian-led Union cement its place as the new power of the East? Or will both crumble under the weight of their own exhaustion?
