The Fire Rises: Combat Fix
This MOD is trying to alter the AI training templates and priority. There are currently two options: 1. Only try to change AI’s division templates and tank designs. 2. Highly difficult, where AI will get an OP unit every 180 days. Specifically, there are 2 tiers: Major/Minor. Majors (ACG, China, France, Germany, Japan, Russia, UoA) would get top-tier 40-width designs. Minors (APLA, ATW, NSM, PTF) would get second-tier 23-width designs. Both comes with 9 support companies.
– Performance: This mod attempts to fix a fatal crash-to-desktop problem when you click on spy agents (caused by missing GFX elements).
– Unlocked Germany’s "Gebirgsjägerbrigade"
– Now when in garrison mode, general can command 3 times the amount of divisions (general, 18->54; marshal, 24->72) just like in vanilla
– Now "Air Assault Troops" can be parachuted and can move at 16km/h (instead of 6.4km/h). They also have some movement buffs.
– Now "Exoskeleton Support Company" does NOT drag your division back to 4 km/h. They no longer affect speed at all.
– Now the locked "Regional Command Center" unit no long does 0 attack; it functions like a 5-battalion motorized infantry brigade with extra defense, which could be actually used for defense (they have especially high defense buff when urban)
– Buffed Exoskeleton units to make them have some movement buff in difficult terrains
– Also enabled the formerly-hidden "Infiltrator" support company (but adjusted it a bit)
– Buffed Unmanned Turret (it now reduces reliability by 10% instead of 20%)
– Added some new icons to help differentiating NORINCO subsidiaries
– Attempted to temporarily fix the vanilla TFR CTD problem when inspecting ship design before the devs ultimately fix it (because missing ship dominance/support gfx elements)
– Fixed the vanilla TFR issue that RECCE infantry doesn’t have a mini-counter on map
– Fixed the vanilla TFR issue that two generations of utility helicopters don’t have stats difference other than ic cost, and significantly made helicopters stronger.
– Adjusted the RFID Tags & AR Headset technology to have the same technology year as the visual shows (also buffed these 2 technologies because they are both delayed by 3 years)
