Pipe’s Puppet Leaders
This mod allows a player to appoint a unit leader (Corps Commander, Field Marshal, or Admiral) as military governor (Country Leader) of their desired puppet.
This modification works by iterating through every character of the country, and adding the ones detected as unit leaders to an array. After assigning a military governor, said character will be removed from your roster and added to the puppet’s. This is accomplished by setting their nationality, and adding country leader roles for all four ideologies.
NOTE: Some focuses, events, and decisions may have checks for certain leaders and leader names. Use this mod at your discretion since it may prevent certain features from working properly due to the new leader of the puppet. Also, you can’t appoint military commanders that can become the leader of your nation through focuses or events.
This modification only works if you have the base game ideologies. If you want a certain compatibility patch, let me know in the compatibility thread.
