Welcome to the Umamusume Pretty Derby Mod!
I’m incredibly thrilled to share this project with everyone around here, and this is actually my second mod that brings anime into the Hearts of Iron IV game. My first mod was themed around Girls und Panzer, which you can look out through the provided link if you’re curious about where I started. After the amount of support and success from my previous mod, I wanted to expand further and try something fresh, which encouraged me to experiment with different ideas.
With this new mod, I sought to showcase the unique charm of Umamusume Pretty Derby. Please take note that this is purely a cosmetics mod, and we don’t plan on adding focus trees or playable content. My goal is to keep it maintainable, and this mod should be fully Ironman compatible, so you don’t have to worry about losing any progress, and you can keep your achievements attainable. Even if the game gets updated, it will continue to run functionally without issues. That way, you won’t have to keep asking about updates in the comments.
Now finally to end with my introduction, I want to say this mod is all about combining both my love and passion for anime with my time in modding, and I hope it gives you a satisfying and enjoyable experience. Our roadmap outlines a full replacement of portraits, flags, and voicelines. Furthermore, Road to 56 remains fully compatible when played alongside Road to Anime and this mod.
