Plane Rebalance
Enhanced User Interface is required to display the technology tree correctly!
Rebalances plane airframes and modules to better resemble their realistic use and encourage the use of different strategies. Additional enhancements are done in the air technology tree and the corresponding UI.
Interwar Small Airframe: Aluminium 2 >>> 1
Basic Small Airframe: Aluminium 3 >>> 2
(Decreases the aluminium usage of interwar and basic small airframes to bring them in line with the resource needs of subsequent airframes. This should act as a nerf to Fighter 2s and encourage the usage of F 1s in the early and mid game.)
Survivability Studies: Now require Aircraft Construction as a prerequisite instead of Light Machine Guns

(Weakens the power of HMGs to move them away from being the undisputed best-in-slot weapon type for fighters. Revises range modules based on historical developments so that drop tanks (early aluminium models) and improved drop tanks (mass-produced paper tanks) represent an evolution of additional fuel tanks while bringing medium airframes in balance with typical stats. Decreases the agility and weight penalties for small and medium bomb bays to strengthen tactical bombers.)
This mod is playable with the current version of the game and will continue to be up to date.
